Raptor VisitorSafe vs Visitu

Visitu’s site describes it as “A Pikmykid Brand” and CENTEGIX announced its acquisition of Pikmykid on 7 April 2026; CENTEGIX sells it as “CENTEGIX Visitu” and is transitioning Ident-A-Kid customers to it.123 Visitu’s terms of service are still titled for Pikmykid / Sachi Tech, Inc.; ask which entity you are contracting with.4

Every Raptor and Visitu cell below is either a quotation or close paraphrase from the vendor’s own public page or terms, with a footnote, or the words “not published”. We do not estimate prices. The EduQueue column is our own product and is not independently sourced; read it the way you would read any vendor’s.

When Raptor is the right choice

  • Your desks are Windows PCs or Android tablets; Visitu is iPad-only.
  • You want one vendor for visitors, volunteers with background checks, drills and reunification.
  • You want the contracting entity and the terms to be settled; Visitu’s are mid-transition.

When to pick Visitu

  • You are an iPad school on Blackbaud, Clever or ProgressBook and CrisisAlert is already on the walls.
  • The 5-year CENTEGIX platform agreement is signed anyway and the first year of visitor management is free.

Where EduQueue sits: runs on the iPads Visitu runs on and on the PCs it does not; supports DYMO as well as Brother; publishes per-state screening coverage; and puts the export commitment in writing.
