Raptor VisitorSafe vs SchoolPass
Raptor acquired SchoolPass on 25 April 2023; the SchoolPass site now carries “Raptor x SchoolPass” branding and its support link points to a Raptor site.12 People still search “Raptor vs SchoolPass”, so this page answers it: two products, one owner, and the buyer’s real question is which of the two Raptor will invest in.
Every Raptor and SchoolPass cell below is either a quotation or close paraphrase from the vendor’s own public page or terms, with a footnote, or the words “not published”. We do not estimate prices. The EduQueue column is our own product and is not independently sourced; read it the way you would read any vendor’s.

When Raptor is the right choice
- You are a public district buying the Raptor suite; VisitorSafe is the product Raptor markets under its own name and lists first.
- You need Windows, Mac or Android check-in stations rather than iPads.
When to pick SchoolPass
- You are an independent school already on Blackbaud, Veracross, Senior Systems or FACTS, which SchoolPass names and VisitorSafe’s page does not.
- Dismissal and carline automation matter more to you than visitor management; that is what SchoolPass was built for.
Where EduQueue sits: an independent alternative to both, with browser-based check-in on any device, PowerSchool sync, and a written export on request. If you are choosing between two Raptor products, ask Raptor which one has the roadmap; if you are choosing whether to stay with Raptor, the other comparisons on this site are the ones to read.
